School's Out For Summer

Well, it's official. Nicholas is now a 2nd grader! Nicholas's last day of 1st grade was on Tuesday and let me tell you that he was SUPER excited about it. The last day was an early dismissal, so we all went to pick Nicholas from school and headed to Moore's Restaraunt for a special "end of the school year" breakfast. I can't believe another school year has come and gone. We are all very proud of our Nicholas for literally acing 1st grade! Nicholas is now looking forward to being able to stay up late and sleep in this summer (we shall see about that). Us Walters have lots planned for sumer vacation, so be sure to check the blog for updates!

Here he is running out of the school to meet me.
He had the biggest grin on his face!

Walter Memorial Day BBQ

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. I know we Walters had a great Memorial day. This year, Nick decided to host the annual Memorial Day BBQ! I love getting together with the family and plus, you know me, I LOVE to throw parties and my hubby LOVES to grill! Our party was complete with family, friends, food, and FUN. We did encounter a little shower  here and there, but that didn't stop us from having a good time. I guess that is what our covered patio and garage are for.....to keep the party going! Here are some pics from Memorial Day 2010. Enjoy!

The Grill Master cooking the brats, burgers, and hot dogs. YUM!

I had very good intentions of taking every one's family picture this Memorial day. As you can see the Kunz family was the only family I got a picture of. Oh well, can't say that I didn't try!

Uh oh, you know it's a party when Grandpa Bob is drinking a beer!

Cousin Callie and Joshua taking a cruise in the back yard.

Mia (Aunt Maggie) and Noah. He doesn't look very thrilled about me taking his picture.

Taking a break from playing to get a cold drink.

Everyone enjoying their Memorial Day.

Lets EAT!

Uncle Justin was able to come home a little early from playing basketball overseas. We were so happy to have him home for the holiday. Here he is with his baby boy, Gideon.

Here is Noah guarding the beer. At least he looks like he is in a better mood.
