Happy Birthday To You!

Not only is today Thanksgiving, but also a very special little boy's birthday! Yep, it's Nicholas's 7th birthday! Can you believe that he is SEVEN YEARS OLD? We celebrated his birthday this past Sunday by having a birthday party at a party land with some of his friends from school. He had a blast playing with all of his friends, eating pizza and cake, and opening lots of presents! I hope to have pictures from our professional party picture taker (a.k.a Tia) to post very soon.

P.S. Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

Joshua's Thanksgiving Dinner

This year we were able to share a Thanksgiving dinner with Joshua's fellow preschool classmates and their families. The school provides the turkey, stuffing, and rolls while everyone else brings a side dish to share. Before the dinner begins, the children put on a mini concert and perform a few songs they have learned. Talk about CUTE!
Check out these videos of Joshua singing with his class.

Leaves Leaves Falling Down

Our trees are officially "naked" now. The boys and I really enjoy watching the leaves on the trees in our backyard turn color and fall to the ground. While Grandma Violet and Grandpa Dan were visiting, Noah and Joshua (Nicholas was at school) spent a lot of time raking, playing and jumping in the leaves. I was able to take many of great photos, but the two on top are my favorites!

My Date With 3 Men

Okay, maybe I should rephrase that title to say My Date With 3 Little Men. Now, I know that I am a married woman and technically should not date other men. However, I will brake the rules when it comes my 3 little guys. Recently, I went on a day date with Nicholas, Joshua, and Noah. We hopped in the van and headed to a park/playground in Swansea and had a blast! We enjoy the park here in Mascoutah, but the change of scenery was nice and as an added bonus the weather was beautiful. The boys loved exploring and playing on the new playground with each other. We will definitely make another trip to this park in the spring. Who knows? If this Indian Summer persists, we will be going again sooner than later.

Me and my 3 little guys!

They loved the tire swing!

Monkeying around on the bars.

Here we GO!!!

Where is the baby? Here he is!

Nicholas and Noah jammin' out at the park.
There were so many cool things to play with.

Nicholas is such a great big brother.
He took Noah down the slide as many times as Noah wanted too.

Here we are again!

Joshua loves the "tunnel" slides.

Nicholas's Zoo Field Trip

On Monday, Nicholas and I headed to the St.Louis Zoo with his class. I remember how much fun I had when my mom went with my class and I to the zoo when I was little. I am so glad that I now get to be on the other side of that excitement! I am so lucky that I am able to be home with my children and enjoy going on field trips with them. Nicholas and I had fun! We had two of his classmates in our group as you will see in the pictures below. I look forward to many more adventurous field trips with my Nicholas!

Just a cute picture!

Me and my big boy!

This is what I wanted to do by the end of the day!
This was our first time on the carousal at the zoo.
It was a hit with all three boys so we decided to ride on it twice!

This bear has the right idea...lay and just be!

This penguin tried to eat our map! There was a small opening in the glass and next thing I know we are fighting with a penguin over a map! CRAZY!!
