On December 2nd, a special delivery from the North Pole arrived at our house. Santa had sent us a special little elf! There he was sitting on top of our blinds on the window in the kitchen. When the boys spotted him perched way up high, they were excited! Their eyes grew wide with Christmas magic! Nicholas and Joshua had seen the elf that Santa had sent to their cousin Jamison's house. They asked me if/or when Santa would send one to our house. Well, Max the Elf (Jamison's elf) must have heard them asking and reported their request to Santa.
Our elf did not come empty handed. He brought along a book explaining how he helps Santa keep track of who is naughty and who is nice. He is watching everything that the boys do and hears everything that they say. Every night, he flies to the North Pole to tell Santa Claus how Nicholas, Joshua, and Noah have behaved on that particular day. When he returns to our house he sits in a new spot. Every morning, The boys are on the hunt to find him in hopes that he has come back.
So now that we have an elf of our own, it was only fitting that we name him. Nicholas and Joshua decided on the name Stanley. Stanley the elf! We don't have much more time with him because he will be leaving on Christmas Eve night to go to the North Pole. There he will stay until he returns next year. Until then, we will enjoy having Santa's little helper in our home.

Ah my Grandpa name only in english, In Spanish Estanislaus. My daddy dad.
I'm sure the boys are being good.
This is an EXCELLENT idea! When I have kids I will be asking you about where to get that book.
They are so into Christmas this year, and Stanley is a big part of it. I think this is one tradition we will remember for years to come.
Happy to hear Stanley made it your house to keep an eye on the boys. :)
