I want to crawl!
I finally caught Noah getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth. Looks like he will be crawling in no time! He has been doing this for the past couple weeks or so, but every time I get the camera out he stops doing it. Why do I get the feeling that we are going to play "keep Noah away from the tree" this year?

How Do I Look?
Joshua has been wanting to get dressed all by himself lately. Not only does he want to dress himself, but he picks out what he is going to wear for the day. I have been letting him do it on the days he DOESN'T have school. I am sure if he walked into the classroom with some of the outfits he chooses his teacher will think "what was his mother thinking when she dressed that child this morning." This picture is of the outfit Joshua decided to wear today. He is wearing a black turtle neck, orange hoodie, camo vest, green John Deere hat, and red pants with blue stripe down the leg. He is a little boy version of Punky Brewster!

It's raining. It's pouring.
Remember the phrase "Don't sweat the small stuff"? Well, today I took advantage of this motto and let the boys splash and play in the rain puddles. They happily put on their rain boots, opened up the umbrellas (it was merely sprinkling, but they insisted on umbrellas), and headed straight for the biggest puddle they could find. They had so much fun!!! They were soaked from toes to thighs and then some. Thank goodness it was only mild and not cold outside. We might have snow to play in tomorrow instead of rain (that is if the weather man is right)
Ready or Not. Here I Come!
Looks like Joshua has a new hiding spot. After counting to 10.......I found him inside of my ottoman. He still has not realized that I can hear him giggling when he is hiding. However, I must admit it is a good spot! I probably would hide in there too (if I wasn't so big).

We've got a visitor!
Uncle Andrew (my brother) is in town visiting all the way from Texas! He came into town to go to a friend's wedding. As a bonus, he gets to hang out with his Favorite sister (yeah, that's right Hilaria! Haha!) and nephews (mind you my boys are the only nephews he has, but it sounds so much better with the word "favorite" in there) The boys have been having fun wrestling and playing outside with him. It's been nice having him here to entertain the boys! I enjoy seeing them with him because it's something that I do not get to see often enough being that my family is not close by. Here are some pictures of the boys with their Uncle Andrew.
Uncle Andrew and Noah Wrestle Mania with Uncle Andrew You want some of this punk? I think I will let my 2 older brothers take care of business while I sit back, relax, and suck on my thumb!

Christmas came early
That's right! Christmas came early for mommy this year. Saint Nicholas (A.K.A Daddy)agreed to let me purchase living room furniture!!! I was on a budget of $1,000 and came in under $300. You know me, sucker for great bargains. I bought a tan Fine Suede sofa and love seat. They threw in the FREE storage ottoman! The new stuff has really transformed my living room. I love it! Now I have to work on getting panels for my windows, new coffee and side tables, and getting Nick to hang up my framed artwork. Merry Christmas to Mommy!

Mommy the Photographer
Last week Nick, the boys, the dog, and I went out to Aunt Peggy's house (Nick's aunt) to shoot some family photos. The weather was great (except for the wind was blowing a little too hard as you can see in some of the pictures) and the trees were filled with all of their Autumn glory! I hope you enjoy the pictures as much I as enjoyed taking them.
P.S. Please ignore my mispelling of autumn in the pictures. I tried to go back and fix it, but no can do.

Rock the Vote!
Earlier today, I had the privilege to vote in this presidential election and must admit that I (for the 1st time ever during an election) was undecided up until my pen hit my ballot. Even though my choice candidate did not win, I am filled with hope and optimism that our new Commander in Chief will do great things for our country!
