Mascoutah Khoury League Night

Nick, Nicholas, Joshua, and I traveled across the river to see our favorite baseball team, the Cardinals, play at Busch Stadium. (Noah got some 1 on 1 time with Grandma and Grandpa) It was Khoury League Night so area Khoury Leagues were able to buy cheap tickets plus get to walk on the field. Nicholas was excited at the thought of walking around the field. However, when it came time to actually do it....well lets just say that is was a LOT of walking and he didn't like that part.
It was a chilly night (only 60 degrees), but we didn't let the weather stop us from enjoying the game. Can you believe we had to wear jeans, long sleeves, and jackets to a June game? CRAZY! We spent a small fortune eating peanuts, hot dogs, nachos, and cotton candy. The boys enjoyed eating their food while watching the game! That in itself is priceless. The Cardinals ended up loosing to the Reds that night, but truthfully I didn't care. I was just happy to have a family night out (minus little Noah) at the ballpark!

How FUN! I used to love going to the games with my mom and dad. I'm sure the boys loved it!

Awesome! It was such a bummer that the seats with your team were so far away from the seat for our team!!!! Next year we need to try to meet in the middle! :-)
